ABOUT THE ORIGINAL: I knew I wanted to do a piece with seadragons; they’re so fantastical it’s hard to believe they actually exist. The hibiscus in this piece was actually from a planter just outside the Torpedo Factory. The seadragon looking at the hibiscus was the first element that came to my mind for this piece, and I structured all of the other plants and creatures around it.
MATERIALS: Made in USA, Digital Reproduction (giclee) on archival quality canvas, printed with archival inks, and varnished. 1 ½” deep gallery-wrapped canvas with hanging wire, and ready to hang. Unframed by default.
FRONT: Signed with initials: JBS (Jennifer Brewer Stone).
BACK: Signed with full name.
