Historic Call Boxes Public Art Grant (2024)
So excited to share that I was selected for a grant to have artwork from my Dance of Life series displayed in vintage police call boxes around D.C. in the Golden Triangle area. Find them here around the city!
From Golden Triangle:
Have you spotted these fixtures in DC and wondered…what are they? They’re historic call boxes and they were once used to contact emergency services in the city during the 1800s. Over time, the telephone started to become a common household item and the call boxes slowly became obsolete 📞 Now, in the Golden Triangle neighborhood, six of them have been reimagined as public art, featuring @jenniferbrewerstone‘s “ Dance of Life” series. See them for yourself on street corners between 17th - 20th streets NW and L-G streets NW.

Magenta Sea in Installation at American Geosciences Institute (2018)
I'm happy to say that I was one of three grant recipients at the Torpedo Factory Art Center to have my work permanently placed in the new American Geoscience Institute offices in Alexandria, VA. My resin piece Magenta Sea is now installed on the Second Floor. I was honored to be invited to #OpenHouseAGI and to chat with folks about geology, science, and art, and see some cool rocks and fossils.

Art in Embassies Invitational (2016)
My painting Flutter was loaned to be shown in the residence of the ambassador in Papua New Guinea as part of the State Department's Art in Embassies program. It remained there for the 3-year term of the ambassador's stay, and is now available for sale on my website here, and I'm featured on the Art in Embassies website here
